		<description>@Narinder, thanks for the nice words!  Your question brings up an interesting point: I certainly used IB extensively in my early iPhone development.  And I think it did help me understand everything how the view works.  

I would stress here that I don&#039;t think there is a right or wrong about Interface Builder (e.g. use it or don&#039;t).  It is more about tradeoffs.  In addition to those mentioned above, IB has the added benefit for rookie developers of being easier to figure out (in terms of creating a UI).  But eventually you will learn that IB itself adds extra complexity that wouldn&#039;t be there if you were just writing the code.  Overtime, I had to learn when that complexity was worth it.</description>

You guys are writing great articles in this blog.i am from java background. worked on JSf, struts, JSP, and other J2EE technologies.I am rookie in iPhone. started just 2 months ago. found Xcode lacks functionality as compared to eclipse. I completely agree with you that code is better than IB in case you need to refactor your code a lot. But what do you suggest for a rookie? I think for him going the IB way is better option. But as i am learning with time. I am trying to avoid IB as much as possible.</description>
