Developing iPhone Applications: Introduction

August 18th, 2009 Jeff Stonebrook, Consultant  (email the author)

This entry is part 1 of 7 in the series Developing iPhone Applications

Welcome to the kickoff of Developing iPhone Applications, a series of blogs aimed at helping programmer, engineers, and architects coming from a Java/C# background to create rich, interactive applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Leveraging Summa’s experience and past projects, we are going to create blog entries on a variety of topics.

The format of the blog entries will be quick fire, short topics. This will encourage comments and discussion on each and every entry and then the blog can move onto another topic. The goal of this series will be to provide a set of concise and easily consumed nuggets of information that we hope will encourage feedback from the readers in the form of questions or experiences that will spur further discussion of the individual topic, or provide a new area for the blog to explore.

Summa has had a tremendous amount of fun doing iPhone development and have produced fantastic client applications. We hope we will give you enough information to enter into the world of iPhone development and experience what we have. And of course if there is any way we can help you, please contact us via the blog entry comments and/or sales@summa-tech.com and we will be sure to get in contact with you.
