We are also proud of our heritage. Many of us have more than 15 years of experience building large-scale transaction processing systems. We developed our skills at a company called Transarc Corporation that was acquired by IBM in 1994. Much of the work we did at Transarc formed the foundation for IBM's WebSphere product line. In June 2006, Gartner Group recognized IBM as the market leader in application integration middleware with WebSphere.
